School of Computing grants coordinator Marilyn Augustyn will retire this week after 31 years with the school.

Augustyn joined the School of Computing in 1992, when it was still named the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and her office was located in Ferguson Hall. She initially worked with the school's graduate students, but later transitioned into a grants coordinator role. At her retirement party earlier this week, fellow staff and faculty members expressed their appreciation for Augustyn's helpfulness, work ethic, reliability, and positive and caring attitude. Director Witawas Srisa-an shared that Augustyn was well known and respected by colleagues and set an example for grants coordination in other departments.

Augustyn will be greatly missed in the school, but faculty and fellow staff wish her a very happy retirement!
