Xu receives Holling Family Distinguished Senior Faculty Teaching Award

Professor Lisong Xu was recently honored by the College of Engineering with the 2023 Holling Family Distinguished Senior Faculty Teaching Award. 

Xu was presented with the award at the College of Engineering’s 2023 Employee Awards ceremony on Friday, April 7. Xu and other University of Nebraska–Lincoln College Distinguished Teaching Award recipients will be recognized at The Laurels annual award reception.  

The Holling Family Distinguished Senior Faculty Teaching Award is a general teaching award presented annually to a faculty member at the rank of associate professor or professor. It includes $2,500 from the university and College of Engineering. Distinguished Teaching Awards are given to select faculty to honor those who advance the missions of the university in teaching, research and service. 

Xu was nominated for his outstanding commitment to his students.
