2018-2019
Year In Review
Empowering Future Innovators
The 2018–19 Senior Design program in Computer Science and Engineering at UNL marked a year of growth and innovation. With a record 20 projects completed and the launch of the first Senior Design VM model, the program expanded its technical capabilities and student impact. Key milestones included the creation of an AWS platform and GitHub organization, the establishment of a Senior Design Service Center, and new collaborations across University of Nebraska campuses. These efforts, led by Director Christy Thomas, enhanced student readiness for careers and graduate research, fostering a vibrant, supportive community for future technologists.
The School of Computing Senior Design Program held its end-of-year project showcase event on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
